This wish needs more attention! I think there's still a lot of people not adding alt text because the feature was somewhat quietly added, but it is a true pain to do it by opening each Etsy listing and adding it individually! Hope this can be added soon!

You can bulk edit alt text with an Etsy tool called Evlista.

Please add this. There is not much point in speeding up the process of adding products through this program, when you have to go into every Etsy listing and Shopify listing anyway to add alt text to each image.

I have to update all photos to etsy new square feature and don't want to lose all my alt tags. Important for SEO image search.
