Overview
As a Vela Community Ambassador & Content Creator, you will be the driving force behind building our brand presence, inspiring creator communities, and championing our platform across the ecommerce landscape. In this high-impact position, you won't just publish content—you will establish genuine connections with prospective and existing users, forge strategic partnerships with key industry influencers, and cultivate an active ecosystem of brand advocates. Working directly with Vela's executive leadership and product teams, you will act as the vital bridge between our community and product roadmap, helping shape the future of our platform while scaling our global reach.
Requirements
- Vela Power User: Deep, firsthand experience using Vela, with a genuine passion for our platform and its potential.
- Ecommerce Enthusiast: Active engagement and strong credibility within seller communities, ecommerce forums, and relevant social channels.
- Connected Networker: Established relationships with influential content creators, industry thought leaders, and prospective brand partners.
- Proven Content Creator: Demonstrated success in designing and executing engaging media (e.g. video, articles, social posts, tutorials) that educate, entertain, and convert audiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Content Production: Develop compelling content—including video walkthroughs, educational courses, and FAQs—to highlight core product value.
- Community Leadership: Cultivate and moderate an active, engaged user community across social media, seller forums, and the broader ecommerce ecosystem.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify, outreach to, and onboard key influencers, creators, and industry partners to amplify Vela’s footprint.
- Product Collaboration: Partner directly with Vela’s Founders and Product team to translate user feedback into high-value product features and improvements.
- Growth Strategy: Design and execute innovative marketing initiatives aimed at acquiring new users and boosting long-term retention.

- Clear Career Progression: Starts as a part-time engagement (~20 hours/week) for 2–3 months, structured as a path toward a full-time role leading our community team.
