Why This Is Useful Shopify doesn’t allow filename edits after upload, leaving merchants stuck with “IMG_4567.jpg”–type files that hurt SEO and clutter the media library. The only current workaround is deleting and re-uploading every image manually, which is slow, messy, and not scalable for stores with multi-image products or larger catalogs. Who Would Benefit Any Shopify merchant focused on SEO, product discovery, and clean media management — especially those with visually driven products that require multiple images per listing (jewelry, apparel, beauty, home décor, etc.). How It Should Work Seller selects multiple existing product images. Seller applies a base naming template, for example: {product_title}-{material}-{brand} → creates a shared base name like: Bri-Necklace-Pearl-StandingO Vela bulk-renames all selected images using that base name. Each image then has an additional open field where the seller can enter a differentiator (e.g., “side-view”, “model”, “detail”). Final filenames become fully structured, such as: Bri-Necklace-Pearl-StandingO-side-view.jpg Bri-Necklace-Pearl-StandingO-model.jpg Bri-Necklace-Pearl-StandingO-detail.jpg Vela replaces the existing files while preserving listing structure, alt text, SEO, and image order. Optional: Vela can handle Shopify’s random suffix issue automatically.

Would be great to have the additional option "Insert" to the actual "Add, Replace, Delete" to have the ability toupload an image and place it in a specific position, making shift all the others...

Right now I manually delete listings just before their 3rd renewal if they have 0 sales, or 1 sale and going on the 5th renewal. A way to automate this would be HUGE

Currently only pages 1,2,3 and the last page is indicated. < 1 2 3 ... 20 > You need to press " > " so many times to move to pages like15, 16, 17, ... If you can select the page from scroll window or drop down bar, it will be much easier.

Imports should have schedule date and time for publishing listings.

It would be great to be able to save the specific AI pompts I write for Studio features, such as AI Backgrounds and AI Edit, so that they can be applied quickl;y in the future without having to be written each time.

Feature request: negative filters for discovery and cleanup - Filters for “does not contain” on Tags, Title, and Description - Support for multiple terms with AND/OR logic - Example: show listings that do NOT contain any of these tags: “cookbook”, “spiral bound” - Example: find titles that do NOT include “PreOwned Good” - Example: find descriptions that do NOT include certain boilerplate info Why this helps: - Quickly surfaces missing metadata for bulk fixes - Enforces naming and tag standards - Reduces manual spot-checking across large catalogs If I’ve missed an existing way to do this, I’m sorry for the oversight — would love a pointer. I’ve seen on another platform that this feature exists, so I believe it should be easy for Vela to add as well. I’m referring to quantity automation. For example, if I set an item with a quantity of 2 and it sells, the system should automatically reset the quantity back to 2. Is this something you can add or support?

European sellers or people who want to sell on the European market - they are required by law to enter this information into every single listing.

For those with a large number of sizes, matching images to each one is time consuming, especially when there are a lot of listings. For those who have the same sequence for matching (i.e. sample picture #1 on wall to always match to size 16x24 photo, and so on), it would be a huge time saver if we could either upload a CSV which matches all based on the same pattern, or alternatively, have an interface that uses the pattern for the first listing to apply in bulk to other selected listings.

Please add the ability to view listings that don't have all 20 images, or are missing videos, missing tags/less than 13 tags etc. - something similar to how you can filter errors in titles and tags.

It would be useful if I could add to / edit / change column headers to see data that I need to look at frequently. For instance I'd like the SKU to be visible on every page, especially images, where just seeing the title is not going to help me figure out which images to upload. Being able to sort by SKU on the home page would be good too.

Enabling a single image upload to automatically synchronize across all connected selling platforms—rather than requiring the same image to be uploaded two, three, or four times in the listing editor—would significantly improve efficiency and reduce redundant operations.

We need the ability to grant limited, role-based permissions for virtual assistants. Vela is growing into a platform built for merchants who can’t handle every task themselves and increasingly rely on team members. To support this, Vela should offer controlled access levels so VAs can work efficiently without exposing full account permissions.

I would find it easier to locate and organize all my profiles if I could see them alphabetized A-Z.

Vela connects beautifully with Etsy and Shopify allowing individual platform changes. It would be great if they could sync inventory between them.

Sometimes, not all photos that are identical (i.e shipping infographics) are in the same position on a listing. If there was a way Vela could scan for an exact match and replace them across all selected listings, this would save a huge amount of time!

Bulk editing products and variations with Vela for my Squarespace e-commerce website would save me hours! I've been waiting on you guys to add this for years. :)

Useful for all sellers importing listings at scale, this enhancement would benefit anyone utilising the import feature. It should function in the same manner as the standard import process, but extended to support the new Etsy features, including process profiles and additional photos beyond the current limit of ten.

Etsy allows sellers to set different domestic and global pricing. Please add this to Vela!

The ability to create videos from photos in Studio would be an amazing addition, allowing sellers to accomplish this important task directly in Vela.
